Why a tour?

 

Rich both in its character and in its history, this is a play with broad appeal, and we aim to inspire audiences around the country to discuss these historical figures.

 

Our audiences are theatre lovers, history lovers, feminists, students of History, Drama or English (the Tudor era is perennially on both the GCSE and A-Level syllabuses), and anyone who likes theatre that asks questions about established truths.

 

We'll be including parts of the country that have associations with Queen Mary's history, and for theatres with connections to schools, we will be more than happy to discuss options for q&a events.
